Refrigerators

All refrigerators must be returned clean, dry and defrosted to receive your $25.00 deposit back.

No Stickers of any kind may be applied to the unit.

1.  Unplug and defrost the unit for 24 hours.
     Leave the door open while defrosting.

2.  Remove all water from the unit, including
     in the drip tray (located under the

     freezer).

3.  Clean the inside and outside, including
     racks, crisper and the inside of the freezer,
     with a mild detergent.

4.  Ensure the unit is completely dry.

5.  If you are cleaning the fridge for the
     last time leave the door open. Otherwise,

     mould may start to grow and you will not
     receive your deposit back.

6.  All racks and crispers must be returned
     with the fridge.

Deposit will be retained by Coldex unless
unit is returned clean, dry and defrosted,
as outlined above.


Deposits are mailed to the Canadian home address, or credited to a MasterCard or Visa, 6-8 weeks after pickup, only after a
DEPOSIT REQUEST FORM has been
completed on line. This procedure ensures that Coldex has current information.

Please note: Deposits can only be refunded to the person whose name is on the contract.  If refunding by credit card, please note the card must be in the renter’s name.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Freezer

All freezers must be returned fully clean, dry and defrosted to avoid a $ 25.00 cleaning charge.

No Stickers of any kind may be applied to the unit.

1.  Unplug and defrost the unit 24 hours prior
     to pick up. Leave the door open.

2.  Remove all water from the unit.

3.  Clean the inside and outside including
     racks with a mild detergent.

4.  Ensure the unit is completely dry.

5.  If you are cleaning it for the last time,
     leave the door open once dry to allow to
     air. Otherwise, mold may start to grow
     within 12 hours, and you will be charge
     for re-cleaning.

6.  All racks contained in the un be it upon 
     rental must be returned.


Deposit will be retained by Coldex unless
unit is returned clean, dry and defrosted,
as outlined above.
